Halloween

When I was a kid I used to love Halloween. I used to love the pumpkins, the scary costumes and of course, I used to love the treats!

I used to get really excited at the prospect of walking around seeing other kids in costumes too but I remember more than anything being utterly disappointed every year by the lack of participation and enthusiasm.

Nowadays there seems to be more of uptake by people beyond the years of childhood. Sweets and chocolate have been replaced with bar snacks and apple cider has been replaced with beer and shots.

People spend time sorting out costumes and organising parties while Trick or Treating is all but forgotten.

We should use this one night to get back to our childhood, get out onto the streets and start Trick or Treating. What better excuse is there to act like a kid again?

This design is heavily inspired by the portfolio of Bryan Katzel. Doing this has helped me gain an insight to how he achieved this brilliant concept.
